Technology Innovation Centre Ltd.
The organisation was founded by the Zlín Regional Government and the Tomas Bata University in Zlín. The primary objective of the organisation is to execute the strategy of economic development of the Zlín Region, to create conditions for the creation and development of innovative companies, to take advantage of research and development results from business practice with a focus on advanced technologies and the expansion of new fields, technologies and services.
The organisation operates the Zlín Business Innovation Centre, Business Incubator and Science and Technology Park.
Among other activities the organisation supports technology transfer between universities and industry practice, operates the Zlín Region‘s Innovation Portal, creates conditions for the establishment and development of clusters, identifies partners for research and development projects on both the national and international level, consulting in identifying possible financial sources for innovative projects, grant management and the organisation of professional seminars and training with a focus on the support of innovation activities and the protection of intellectual property.
